Where 'lost emails' gone?

The major spam filter rules are built in to the Anti-Spam software, and these are the rules that clear up most of the spam on the internet. These rules are created by looking at the way spam emails are formatted, and blocking emails with a similar format. Unfortunately, some legitimate emails are identified as spam, and moved to your Junk folder. But that is the reason the Junk folder exists. Instead of deleting emails identified as spam, they are moved to the Junk folder for a few days so that the user can check for legitimate emails that were incorrectly identified.
So the solution is to check your Junk folder once in a while. If you find legitimate messages in there, select them and click the "Not Junk" button. This will move them to the Inbox folder, and create a rule to prevent such messages from being identified as spam in the future.
